Given Russia's geopolitical role in our region, we consider it one of the most important tasks for us to strengthen friendly ties between Lebanon and Russia and increase its cultural presence in our country. Progress in this direction has been achieved thanks to strong relationships between our Association, the Russian

Embassy and the Russian cultural center in Beirut. A good example of this cooperation is the numerous cultural, political and sports events that are held with the participation of youth and women's organizations that contribute to the preservation of the Russian language and the continuity of cultural traditions from generation to generation.

The Association attaches great importance to the recruitment of students to study in Russia, distributing scholarships and selecting worthy candidates, organizing their departure and enrollment in institutions.

Taking advantage of new opportunities of communication means, we were able to expand contacts both with our graduates and with graduates of the USSR from other countries, who are United by the Russian language and the best years of life during their studies in the former Soviet Union.
